Dates
: 16 August 08
Location
: Bangna Trad Road, Bangkok
Teacher
: Neema Majmudar
Subject
: Dialogue with children on significance of Lord Krishna and his life
Comments of participants :
In August 2008, on Janmashtami day, Neema was invited to talk to children on significance of Lord Krishna. The talk was conducted with an innovative approach. In stead of just telling children different stories on Krishna's life, children were asked a question on who their hero was. Children named different sportsmen, actors, scientists as their heroes. Then children were led to discover many different multi-dimensional qualities of Krishna so they themselves concluded that Krishna would be their hero from now onwards!! After the session, children told Neema that they had heard the stories many times, but for the first time they understood the significance behind these stories and were truly inspired by the character of Lord Krishna.
